How to Install Topcoat

How to Install Topcoat on Mac:
Open the version of Cinema 4d you wish to install Topcoat on.
In the “Edit” menu of Cinema 4D got to the bottom and click “Preferences”.
In the very bottom left of the Preferences window click the “Open Preferences Folder” button.
In the Finder a window will open revealing this version of Cinema 4D’s preference Folder.
In this folder find the folder “plugins”.
Inside the “plugins” folder drop the 'TopCoat_Mac' from the zip file.
Close Cinema 4D.
Start Cinema 4D.


How to Install Signal on PC:
Open the version of Cinema 4d you wish to install Topcoat on.
In the “Edit” menu of Cinema 4D got to the bottom and click “Preferences”.
In the very bottom left of the Preferences window click the “Open Preferences Folder” button.
In the Windows Explorer a window will open revealing this version of Cinema 4D’s preference Folder.
In this folder find the folder “plugins”.
Inside the “plugins” folder drop the 'TopCoat_PC’ from the zip file.
Close Cinema 4D.
Start Cinema 4D.

How to Use Topcoat:
In Cinema 4D click the Plugins menu item and select Topcoat.
Click any Topcoat layer inside the Topcoat tab.
Apply the created material any geometry. 
Be sure there is something for the geometry to reflect (such as a sky).
Render.
